Not anywhere near as cool but this reminded me of a story:
My Junior year when I was on team hockey for Notre Dame media relations, ND played BC at Fenway Park. The hockey boss told me and my friend (really my friend who was a rock star in the office and I just tagged along) that if we were available, we could be part of the media “team”. I didn’t get that it was a wink wink, nudge nudge you wanna free pass? kind of deal, so when we showed up I asked the guy Tim what we were doing, assuming I’d be on assists like usual. He looked at me like I was a (frank)ing moron and said “Uhhhhh… watching hockey?”
Tim ruled. Pittsburgh fan too. I think he used to work for the Pens. - Victoro311

Does anyone have the full version of Hulu with live TV? I'm thinking of jumping ship from Sling since they don't have espn channels.
EDIT: Sling has espn, but I have to upgrade to get it but at the price it will be I'm curious about Hulu TV since I already have regular Hulu. |

yeah I guess not....Guentz and Zucker for sure....Pretty sure ZAR can play LW and so can Teddy and Carter, who you want as C's most likely anyway, but you're right...our wings took a hit for sure. |

College hockey is weird. It's a totally different product from anything else (honestly Grinder would probably love it), but I (frank)ing loved that team and it was cool seeing them against a rival like BC in a place like Fenway. It was a brutally cold night game in the middle of a polar vortex in January. My friend and I roughed it for a period in the stands just because we felt like we had to off principle, but man we were thankful for those press box seats. |

I pay about $75, with the sports package, only channels they don’t have is TBS/TNT which could be a problem with the new TV deal. But otherwise it’s been awesome. |

Yeah, I'm spending like $45 on Sling and I also have Netflix, Amazon and Hulu, so I thought i'd consolidate if Hulu made sense.
EDIT: I was able to switch my package without spending more money and get all the espn channels, tnt and nhl network. |

Lol yeah we know you are. But we also know Sully isn't.
I think they should have tried him at 3LD last year or at least had him compete with POJ, but that's probably past. Pretty clear he's behind POJ and Friedman. Should really just let him get a fresh start elsewhere. |

I'm shocked they haven't gone the mutual contract termination route yet. |

I'd probably leave a spot open at LW or at least only bring in a cheap vet. RW is where we really need to upgrade. At least LW has ZAR and our better prospects. Lafferty is arguably our best bottom 6 RW. |

Right! I don't mind if they just send him through waivers for depth as a fan of the team. But you'd think he'd want a fresh start and they'd like to save some money. |

He could also be just totally fine with being young and making 1.15 million a year living in the U S of A. I really liked what he brought though, he looked good in the 2nd season with Rudy...he does play with a bit of a mean streak and can skate well, at 1.15 mill he makes a lot of sense for the 3rd pair. |

I'm totally off those. The concept of a la cart TV streaming was a really cool idea from Sling, but unfortunately totally infeasible due to the leverage media conglomerates have over the providers. A provider wants to offer ESPN? Sure, Disney will give it to you, if you also pay for the Disney Channel, Disney XD, and Freeform. By the time these tv streaming providers finally acquire all the channels their customers actually want, they're forced to also provide a bunch of bloat that sky rockets the price and makes them barely different from a cable sub.
Personally hoping that everyone goes the way of ViacomCBS and just offers their own subscription based services that include their live channels. Let me sub to Paramount+ as it exists now, Peacock with an NBC live stream, and a Disney package that includes all ESPN, Fox, and FX channels live streams and I have all my standard needs met for way cheaper than a cable sub. Money left over goes to premium services like HBO, Starz, Showtime, etc... |
