I'm totally off those. The concept of a la cart TV streaming was a really cool idea from Sling, but unfortunately totally infeasible due to the leverage media conglomerates have over the providers. A provider wants to offer ESPN? Sure, Disney will give it to you, if you also pay for the Disney Channel, Disney XD, and Freeform. By the time these tv streaming providers finally acquire all the channels their customers actually want, they're forced to also provide a bunch of bloat that sky rockets the price and makes them barely different from a cable sub.
Personally hoping that everyone goes the way of ViacomCBS and just offers their own subscription based services that include their live channels. Let me sub to Paramount+ as it exists now, Peacock with an NBC live stream, and a Disney package that includes all ESPN, Fox, and FX channels live streams and I have all my standard needs met for way cheaper than a cable sub. Money left over goes to premium services like HBO, Starz, Showtime, etc... - Victoro311
I’m sure it will continue to evolve where the services become consolidated or obsolete but for now this works. I have little kids so switching between channels as if it’s regular cable is convenient. Also for me during football going from cbs to fox to red zone without changing apps.
Plus ditching cable for this saved me over $120 a month. So I’ll ride it out until it no longer makes sense. |

Go and read the new amendments for the blackhawks lawsuit in 2010 against that sick fuucck Aldrich. Ben Pope @benpopecst

I wonder if Hextall saying that he won't be signing any big names because the McCann/Tanev moves basically just made them Cap compliant because he already has his move planned out at Goalie and it's gonna take up all the free capspace
Just can't come out and say it and tip his hand |

The video guy is obviously a dirtball, but is the jist he got the player over to his place, got him drunk and talked the player into letting Aldrich suck him off? Then teammates found out and made fun of him and that basically derailed his career?

He didn't say he wouldn't be signing any big names. He said he didn't think any of the big names would fit under the cap for them which is a specific distinction.
He's really just setting expectations and covering his bets by saying he has in-house solutions in case he can't make any major upgrades. |

I actually would prefer a straight up swap of Jarry for Lehner or Kuemper. |

I think it's what Rino said. If he can't dump more contracts he can't really do much. They have 7.5 cap but only 9 forwards and not sure what ZAR gets.
Things change if he moves Zucker and/or Pettersson, but he's probably not planning the UFA spending spree a lot of people would like. |

I think Kuemper can be had and Jarry can be involved but there will be other teams willing to beat our offer, not require Jarry in return, and Arizona can potentially retain cap for more assets
Nedrojkic going for just a 3rd certainty gives us an idea of Jarry's low or potentially negative value

It's getting just plain ugly at this point. No way 90% of the people in that organization, especially people with power, didnt know about this. They knew and did nothing.
Throw the book at them. |

Finding a partner for Pettersson or Zucker would put this team at a great spot with cap space. If we were to obtain that cap space, Hextall would have a lot of options.
1. Pursue free agents
2. Look for an answer in net (Gibson/MAF)
3. Try to take advantage of a team in cap hell (TB)
Any players that TB will move that we'd be interested in? Tyler Johnson? |

Killorn or Palat are the players (not contracts unfortunately Killorn's sucks, although it is only 2 more years) to target in Tampa but Tampa doesn't have cap space to take on either Petts/Zucker. Don't think Pens/Lightning are good trading partners. |

If Tampa is willing to eat 50% I think there's something there otherwise I don't think there's much of a chance for the Pens here.

Yeah, unless Tampa can retain salary then I don't think there's much to work on unless the Pens find a way to dump salaries elsewhere.

I think it goes back to the outdated ideas of consent, especially with adults and guys in general
A friend of mine way back in the day got picked up by an old/fat/ugly cougar at the bar one night and took him home. He was pretty drunk
We all made fun of him for quite a while afterwards, because he never would have done that sober
Obviously we would all of had a huge problem with it had it been a drunk female friend of ours and a creepy old dude, probably stepped in before she left....., but a guy, the same age us, he's a grown up and can do what he wants
Based on the story, parallels are pretty similar. Aldrich got the kid drunk, took advantage, word got out and his teammates made fun of him for it. The Dude on Dude stigma was just harder to wash off, especially at the time. The power dynamic factor was a thing nobody really cared about 10 years ago

Killorn only has 2 years at 4.5 left. I’d say that’s a good contract. |

Jesse Marshall posted a video montage of Calle Clang. I don't know how competitive his league is, but dude looks legit.

Yeah it was pretty questionable when he signed it but the dude's a warrior and can play that playoff hockey. It definitely worked out for them. |
