In Seravalli’s trade bait article he lists Petterson (albeit far down) and says we’ve been trying to package him in other transactions but no one is interested at his full cap hit. Says we’d have to retain salary which would (obviously) defeat the purpose of moving him.

That's not promising for moving him before free agency starts. Maybe after if teams miss their targets but won't help us as much.
