Yohe saying Penguins picking up their search for a goalie. He mentioned Kuemper as a potential guy. I dont subscribe to The Athletic so not sure who else he mentions. - SuperHenderson13
No revelations in that article other than Kuemper and the fact that the Pens are actively looking for tending help. I'm not sure that's "news" either.
Also said Petts and Zucker trades have been explored. We all kind of knew that. |

Are Coyotes going back to their old school logo full time? Awesome if true. |

How far does Wallstadt drop? I read he's the #1 player on the Pens board and maybe that's why all is silent? |

I wasn’t aware of this.
Still hoping for Dvorak and a Pettersson trade.
LOL @ Philly and the Ristolainen trade. |

I was hoping they’d bring the white jersey with the old logo as well. Great Js. |

Flames or Sabres will take him for sure. I’d bet oilers take Cossa |

Article really driving home Kuemper as the target. Says if they wait till FA they will be in on Mrazek.
Also mentions they are engaging teams on Zucker and Petterson. - kfinl170
I think I’d prefer Mrazek to Kuemper. |

Only benefit to Kuemper is we’d likely be moving a roster player for him, thus still leaving us with cap space to add a forward in FA. If we sign Mrazek that’s the only move we’d be able to make. |

Can anyone think of a day where there have been this many lopsided trades involving players? A few GMs lost their minds today. Not only that, but most of the trades had the team getting the perceived best player get smoked in the deal |

Also, Kuemper has arguably had the better 3 year stretch, and only has 1 year left on his deal. If it doesn't work you just walk. I doubt Mrazek signs a 1 year deal. |

I wish Yzerman could figure out how to draft in the 1st round. This is bullpoop. |

I dont love trading up there. The last time Yzerman traded into the first round for a goalie... it worked out okay. |

With the way the board fell who did you want at 6? Eklund? |

Eklund or Guenther. Then Svechkov with the trade up. |

I read an interview where Walstadt was talking a out wanting to be known for more than just hockey and wanting to start his own website or something...
That type of thing scares GMs off, especially with early picks. When I read that I got the feeling he would drop. GMs want guys to be like Crosby where they are obsessed with hockey.
Still think he goes to Columbus at 25 worst case. |
