To me Soucy doesn't move the needle for me. He's already 26, so it's not like he's going to progress much further. I just think you could sign a million Soucy's in UFA without giving up any assets. If it comes down to it, I'd rather try out Tarmo or Rykov as the 3LD before trading Jones, who I think could also slide there.

I think Robertson is destined to be our LD. Id prefer to use Jones as a add-in on something bigger than Soucy. However Soucy is a perfect fit for us on LD with his size and physicality.

Crazy, both those guys really would be fine, yet their names have seemingly been lost in the prospect list because of all the high end talent in the system.

I want no part of a broken down Echiel. Neck surgery’s are very serious and no telling he would be the same player if he comes back. Plus we are giving up a kings ransom. The Rangers can do better than this.
