Charriot-Ristolainen
Edmundson-Petry
Romanov-Savard

Is kind of a good defense. More PP option, more offensive (which we lacked) in defensive. Still a huge D. Savard is 6’2 230lbs. Ristolainen is 6’4 221lbs.

If that’s the case there is not much money left for Top 6 LW, not even talking about replacing Danault yet.

Is Bogosian a better option on 3rd pairing RHD?

No. He was horrible with Leafs lol.

I guess Savard could ask for less then what he gained with Tampa while Buffalo could take half Ristolainen cap since he’s UFA at the end.
Habs will have around 21m to spend.

I guess we will land Hoffman at around 4.5m for too 6 LW and probably a trade for someone like Dvorak at 4.25 minus what we give.

I know

Toffoli Suzuki Caufield
Drouin KK Anderson
? Poehling Gallagher
Lekhonen Evans Bryon

Poehling can be either C or LW on 3rd line, some may think it’s the latter but we still need LW either top 6 or top 9. I doubt Armia is coming back or do we want to have Perry on 3rd line?

With Hoffman you need to surround him with players that can play some d and can also make a play. I see Gallagher on the other wing but not sure who will centre that line

Toffoli, ?, Gallagher
Anderson, Suzuki, Caufield
Drouin, KK, Lehkonen?
Byron%Poehling, Evans, Perry
Parise(lol)

Yeah, I think Poehling will play on the 4th line with Evans (LW). (Evans will be the C, the other on LW).

I think we will see some of them play on their wrong side.

But they need a centre. No way around that.
