Kinda confused by this. Someone (hypothetically) presented that offer to Dreger and he asked the Rangers what they thought and they thought it was too much? Or the Rangers offered that to Buffalo and Buffalo laughed at it? I'm confused by that one.

If I am reading it correctly (and could be wrong) is that Dreger was possibly talking to someone in the Rangers Org and floated that package as the compensation for Eichel and they laughed at it?

If they offered us a discounted trade package, I'd roll the dice on that one. But yeah, if we are making that trade in realistic scenarios, we have to see the records

BUF wants him gone, the only way he’s traded is if they release his medical. Being that they refuse to do so that medical has to be pretty bad that they believe they’ll get more if teams trade for him and DONT know rather than teams trade for him knowing how bad it is.

I don't know if it's horrendous, but I'd bet it's like a Lafontaine or Big E situation where they could play, and even play many games, but one wrong hit and they are close to being done.
