Bertuzzi could be it.
Don't know if there is anyone in FA that could add that. |

Bergevin may as well had his middle fingers up when he announced the pick. Pretty big (frank) you to everyone. |

Except it's all stuff he can't possibly know... - Zezel
Some of us can see it Z. Why can't he?
Also, he all but said it when he said something along the lines of -- $40m on forwards has never been done before.
That's one step away from -- it hasn't been done before because it doesn't fu3king work...especially during a flat cap.
So maybe he's closing in on "stuff he can't possibly know". |

Ty Void is one that I didn't see coming. Thought he wasn't eligible till next year but just noticed he just turned 18. Most scouts have him listed between 70-100, so I guess at 153 it ain't bad. Its kinda one of those, we know something you don't know kinda pick IMO. Its the 5th round so what more can you expect.... |

That’s what I’ve been yacking on about and why I say keep Holl, etc. Find as big and as fast a LW’er with as good hands as we can afford. (I’d also split up the first line but that’s another fight)
Change the way the forwards play. Apply the skill differently. The core is staying. The focus on forwards isn’t changing. Let’s make sure it is set up properly for playoff hockey. |

Meh, 21 teams still had Mailloux on their list according to the Athletic.
If it wasn't the Habs, someone else was picking the talented bumhole.
I wouldn't, mostly to avoid handling the drama surrounding the pick.
But here we are.

The more trades and signings I see the more obvious it is Dubas doesn’t have the assets or cap space to make a big move. Also even with the flat cap too many teams are willing to overpay for FA, and take on bad OEL contracts.

Kings are better trade partners for Detroit. Lots of quality prospects. They can afford to give one of them up. Leafs can't. |

Fills the role Hyman had on the PK.
Has shown he can play on top lines and handle going up against top players defensively at least.
Will only cost 1.75-2M.
A perfect fit for both sides
