I'm very happy with the draft. Unlike the whiny fanbase. It always amazes me how these idiots think they know more than Steve Yzerman does. We won't see these kids in the NHL for 3-5 years and the keyboard geniuses already label them as busts. 🤣

For example Edvinsson was watched quite a bit by Lidstrom and he had some great things to say about him. Perhaps just maybe Stevie took his recommendation? It's too bad Stevie didn't contact the genius Wings fans on their assessment. 🤣

The only draft pick I can say was stupid and a poor selection is MTL's 1st rounder.

Robertson is barely 19 and basically made the team at 18 but two injuries derailed him a bit. He has a lot more time before I'd ever consider him as trade bait. I'm from Peterborough and I mention this yesterday. I've watched the Pete's a ton and Robertson has way more talent then McTavish who went 3rd overall this year. There's only one year diff in age between them but two draft years. Robertson technically is eligible to still play in the OHL that's how young he is... Lol

Early round players that don’t pan out are busts. Late round drafts are mediocre players that are incredibly unlikely to make the nhl. Ipso facto. Not a bust.

Edvinsson could very well be a top pairing guy for a long time. Guessing he's gonna need 2-4 years before he plays for the big club, but who knows. No need to hurry him - you're likely not gonna be a contender before 3-4 years anyway...
