Matthew Knies seems like a solid pick for the Leafs at 57. I watched him play a few times this season.

Big, powerful, and can beat goalies from a distance. I think he has the frame to get a step faster. Decent skill for a big guy. Nice to have a prospect with some size.

Guy is already gone and will probably be bought out at the 5th or 6th year. Who the F care about the 8th year extension? Take the 7th pick and move on.
