I dont really get how that community analyze and assign numbers to these kids, given their age, league, line competition etc.

I more so like reading their takes cause while they are assigning these numbers, they also give overviews on play style and a small blurb about them so it's nice to read.

Fair, I used to be more intrigued.

Over time it started to smell too much like correlation dne causation to me though. Especially for the extra spice.

I think other teams scout the Canadian leagues and in typical canuck fashion, they scout Europe and other places, because you know, all the great players and Cups the team has/had.
Not trying to be negative, but this is getting more and more ridiculous, every year.
So far this has been a good off-season, it will be a great season if they get rid of Schmidt, another one of those cap dumps, that should have been in the Arizona package.

I was so hoping that my team would finally draft a bunch of good players, instead of trading for decent players, but, I totally understand the reason.
A young player like Elias asks for another winger, the Canucks Go get Miller, then the Captain speaks about being tired of not being a playoff team, the GM/owner are to late to try start a rebuild and need to accommodate your existing core.
The Canucks window is now, let's see how it shakes out.

I liked picks like Zloyedev and Persson who weren't on my list last year.

I am fine with the picks in general, and had the first 3 on my list as picks I had as players I was wanting.
My point was just a general observation, on how the Canucks draft players over the years.
Keep doing what makes you a successful club and you will continue to succeed.
