I'm probably wrong (wouldn't be the first time, nor the last) but I think the #LetsGoBuffalo Sabres take the best return and trade Jack Eichel by tonight or right before the bell rings for free agency tomorrow at 12 Noon. #NYR #MNWild #FlyTogether #SeaKraken

vegas has only been around for a few years but they definitely have become predictably aggressive. pretty much in on every big name out there with no hesitation about trading prospects/picks. Who the hell is even in their pipeline at this point?

Definitely, they are the one contending team w/ no real centers.

Some have given ample consideration and outlined why it was a bad trade.

Also, since teams are so strapped, why not weaponize the cap space the rangers have and pick up a good player or pick? It's hard to see Drury's endgame other than Dolan said get tougher or look elsewhere, which is plausible given what we know.

Only way to weaponize cap space is like ARZ has done. Think we can all agree that NYR isn't in the same situation as them..no? NYR needs the available space for hockey moves and future signings for players currently on the team and who they acquire.

Ya he’s almost on my untouchable list. Nils on the other hand…… and if it werent for Fox I’d say he has a spot, but Nils isn’t great in his own end, he’s not bad but he’s not good. Can’t have 2 smallish offensive defenseman on the right side.

it seems inevitable that one of them has to be gone at some point. there's just no room for 2 more RHD on the roster behind Fox and Trouba. It's hard to say what would be the best time to trade either one since you don't know if eithers value is at it's peak or floor

My prediction is Landeskog 7 x 7.5 and Getzlaf 2 x 3

They fit the kind of moves they have been making, w/ leadership and character

Well the Rangers don't feel the same way, pretty much everything they are doing is setting up Nils to be a mainstay
