I highly doubt he will be cut before the season starts. However, if he has one of those "fall off a cliff"' seasons that receivers his age have been known to get, he's gone by Week 4, 5, or 6.

Those rules are currently in place for Preseason only. They haven't finalized anything for the regular season, nor have the NFL and NFLPA agreed on anything definitive. They won't do so either until the picture is clearer closer to kickoff time.
