Just got off the phone with Klimovich’s agent.

I asked if he thinks Danila is ready for the NHL/AHL, he said “we would see in camp” he went on to say that this kid is a player. Klimovich is very strong for his age.

“Hopefully we have a deal together in no time,” says the agent.

So an AHL only contract? Don’t that allowed since due to CHL rights.

Also, I don’t believe you can’t offer less or more on NHL deals for ELC’s, it’s a set number, only bonuses are negotiated I believe. I may be wrong on that though

Wingers are pretty loaded if we wanna leave Pod a top 9 spot. If you wanna have him in the AHL then yeah DeBrusk fits, but that salary would be better spent on improving the RD

Ideally yes, but it takes two motivated sides to get it done in a hurry. RFA’s agent may use time as leverage if Benning is in a rush to get it done before UFA opens up officially
