3 or 4 days of Canucks making some major changes and we are talking right wing politics. Wow.
Do you cry in your sleep because you don't get your way, or do just take any chance you get to cry about how everyone is against you?
Not direct at you. - Reubenkincade
There will be crying and complaining, you can count on that |

It was only four days ago that the Canucks had $24.8 million of their $81.5 million in cap space allocated to Nate Schmidt, Braden Holtby, Jake Virtanen, Antoine Roussel, Loui Eriksson and Jay Beagle.

Call me crazy, but with all this cap clearing do you think the Canucks are possibly in on Eichel? Ownership loves big names and sticking their nose in things. Apparently the ask for Las Vegas is R.Smith, Krebs, Hague, and a 2022 first round pick. If that’s close for Buffalo does a package of Boeser, Hoglander, Rathbone, and a first round pick get it done? Not saying I would do this….. but I wouldn’t put it past ownership to push for something crazy like this. |

Not saying I would do it, I just know ownership can’t help themselves some times when it comes to big names. But from a Canucks point of view this is probably how they see it. Boeser will need to be qualified at 7.5mil… is he worth that… debatable. Rathbone is a great prospect but with Hughes and OEL on the left side and taking up PP time are you going to get full utilization out of him? Hoglander had a solid first year… but he’s a middle six guy. First round pick…. Jim is allergic to then… probably coughs up more picks to be honest. Not saying I would do this…. It’s just this ownership group that scares this poop out of me. Would much rather they look to have a deep team then a handful of stars |

1. I get that this forum is for debating but there's a better chance of Jake Virtanen scoring 50 goals for Detroit this year bud.
2. Yes, Boeser is worth it, if his next contract is around the 7.5 range - that's a steal.
3, Don't trade Hoglander, his ceiling is high, his game is something we drastically need, plus he's cost controlled for 2 more years - maximize them
4. Rathbone could be expendable but no thanks, I think his game is more rounded that QH and he has huge upside and again cost control is valuable.
5. STOP TRADING PICKS -
6. fawk off Eichel - he would get destroyed in this market or any Canadian one |

Christ i hope not.
The only way i would approach Eichel is if someone offersheets E.P to something over $10M. In that case, match it then ship him one for one to BUF |

Ek says Buffalo could OS Petey .
Christ if that is true I would let him go and take the top pick for the next four years . The suck.

I think it is MTL who will OS him. Bergevin is a walking turd. |
