Bellemare, Nosek, Kampf, Anisimov Johansson, Nash, Huala all between 1-3 mil All offer more than Dogsh%t Sutter - Brooks_Light
1/2 of them I like. Comes down to Sutter in a reduced role & known quantity & on the PK. Gotta have role players. Has to stay healthy but less TOI should happen given the top 9 got much better. |
|
|
|
Sutter isn't the direction I would have wanted to go, but 1 x 1.125 is completely fair for the Canucks. - Codes1087
Its not bad at all but just move on, there are tons of other options |

Not bad on top of his buyout money - but too much too long - GMs will never learn - Brooks_Light
That makes him the 3rd highest paid dman in the league with buyout and salary combined... |

D-men are at a premium as always. If we only could draft more of them.... - carsonagenic
Always yup. Woo is coming along nice but probably 1-2yrs away from making it. Draft more D will happen. Tbh lots in the pipeline but need lots of seasoning. |

All probably want more money and don't want to be our 4LC. - DariusKnight
yeah unfortunately all don't deserve it, won't get it and should be thankful they're still in the league. |

I guess they see merit in keeping him around cause he can move up to 3c and can kill penalties, but I agree, we need change, not more of the same, and he won't change anything. |

Would love to see a whole draft after BPA in first round be just drafting of D. |

Ya, pretty much how I feel. Would have liked them to bring in someone younger and faster, but the team knows him/likes him, they know what they’re getting from him, and they needed to fill that role on the cheap. |

Sutter like him or not he’s cheap & saving on role players is a good cap move.
Pay a bit more for stars & save on the role players like all the good teams. |

We got lots of change so far this season, and to JB and TG he is a known quantity and foundational. |

I hearya but ppl forget we have drafted a fair amount of D that are just beginning to develop. Not enough RSD but there are some really good potentials.

I imagine people like Brandon sitter this year at 1.125 instead of Brandon at 4.25 |

Sutter skates well & good on FO’s & solid on the PK. Has a role now instead of a 3C is a major bonus. Again health or we use a young Costmar or idk. |

Wouldn’t mind seeing the Canucks signing Nick Ritchie as a 4th line winger. We could use a bit more size and toughness
