Epp on negativity about OEL - Vancouver is a tough market media and fans wise, so driven by negative media, so unfair. They are already all over OEL, it is why some free agents stay away from VAN, the media scrutiny.

I think most markets are exactly like ours. Is Montreal, TO, Boston, NY, Philly, etc. any better? Only difference is Vancouver has only one pro sports team (of significance anyway). All sports eyes on this team. If anything, the sports journalism segment in Vancouver is saturated. Too many people reporting on very little content. No wonder some are forced to make poop up.
