Sending Eichel to Calgary makes sense. Sabres need a top prospect like Valimaki but he is a LD and the Sabres have no need for that. I would propose Coronato, Pelletier, Monahan and a protected 1st (if top 10 moves to 2023).

I know there are a lot of people who think Tre has stumbled. But you gotta think the guy has some irons in the pot.

If nothing happens, then it's time to get JG and SM value back up and start taking on bad salaries. Lots of picks in next year's draft would be the perfect way to do a quick rebuild.

Interesting rumour saying Pitt has inquired about a Lucic for Zucker trade. Im not sure about that one, contracts are almost the same but I kinda like having the big guy around. But if we sign Nick Ritchie, I would say that deal is more palatable.

I am just not sure what bringing in another small left-winger will accomplish. Agreed on bringing in Ritchie if they take Looch. Would need to bring in some veteran leadership as well

It looks pretty bleak so far. The Flames aren't rumored on any big players.. if we fail today, just think of it as another chance to draft Monahan's replacement next year.

I'm fine with Zadorov too. Quite a turnaround by the Blackhawks.

I like Hyman, good signing but again, cap management...
He's already 29 and that contract will likely hurt sooner than later. Oil sign Barrie too. Man they needed to fix more than what Hyman brings.
