And who is Chicago chasing in return? - Tee56
Jarry and a pick, or a prospect
or if the Hawks don't want Jarry, Then Pettersson and a pick

A Vegas offer on Jack Eichel should start with Alex Tuch. - G - Man
Good luck with that. |

Fleury has very little value, Who ever signs him will regret It. - Shady1962
Half the teams in the league would be better with Flower on the roster. Maybe they can't take the full cap hit, but there's always Buffalo or Arizona who could retain 50% for the right payoff. |

I thought Pitt was supposed to offer a 1st round pick? This is getting confusing. Also, why would Vancouver buy out Holtby if the Leafs were so interested? Did any sources mention Lundquist? |

They really have nothing to offer Buffalo TBH. Minny and Anaheim offers are better so far.
I mean for prospects they have Krebs Brisson and Korzack. Their first rounder will be guaranteed late twenties or even in the 30s. They honestly cannot compete with any packages that the Ducks, Kings or Wild could offer. |

Not sure how critical we can be of this when “insiders” cultivate leaks with teams to really become spoilers in some cases. It’s a business all on its own……who can break it faster, that’s how they are judged. Of course news should come from teams but it’s an odd part of the business |

Something stinky about the whole thing.
Almost a little GM collusion.
so many "why" questions.
In fact I go back to the undrafted TVR that Vegas selected from the Hawks...and wonder if maybe there was a down the road IOU favor coming back.

Shameless Jim Benning strikes again. Two guys he signed in the fall he buys out in less than a year, all in the effort to save his job cause and continue to pull the long con on a dim-witted, silver spoon owner who he plays like a freaking fiddle. |

So yesterday you made a big focus on the goalie carousel, speaking with numerous sources. End result:
-no mention of MAF going to Chicago, or any mention of Chicago looking for a goalie.
-claimed the Leafs were interested in Holtby but the acquisition cost was an issue. Readers quickly pointed out that Holtby is awful, and the Canucks would be happy to give him away. I guess they tried giving him away and couldn't, so they bought him out.
But I guess sometimes sources miss things... - Kooleus
Good call. Thought the same thing when I read that the “acquisition cost was too high” for Holtby
You have to really be out to lunch to think a pylon like Holtby, signed to an awful deal, would come with any type of acquisition cost |
