I should have said the next few days...the return for Jack will be the biggest factor, obviously. I don't have expectations as far as big free agents. But I'd love to see some grit added and players with heart. I miss feeling like the team somewhat represented the hard working image of our city....

I think that may be a good bet.

I think Granato had them working extremely hard, and they were already missing a starting goalie, Jack and McCabe.

Buffalo hasn't been "Blue collar" for like 30 years.

Its a very white collar, desk job city now.

I absolutely want a winner! And it's not about fighting at all, just playing somewhat physical, I mean, this team has been so damn easy to play against...
As far as the city narrative, I was born and raised in South Buffalo. Absolutely blue collar to this day. Many hard working civil service type. So I guess that I am looking at it from a personal perspective as opposed to what the larger area has turned into.
