I went to school in Pittsburgh and have met/seen a lot of Penguins players at local bars in the Southside. Without a doubt, James Neal was the biggest @sshole I met out of all of them. Most of them were incrediblely nice, but Neal was such a Richard to everyone he encountered there. It was almost to the point where teammates were apologizing for his behavior/attitude to the staff.

I'll take that as confirmation enough. I have met a few by chance but a lot more Steelers. Never had a bad interaction with the players I met, but I never met Neal.

Unless it isn't insured, and real dollars have to be paid out by the team holding Seabrooks contract even though he's not playing. That was the deal with Nathan Horton's contract

Same haha, Neal was just a douchebag. I actually took a piss right next to Sid at Urban Tap years ago lol. Geno was always the funniest when I'd see him out. Vokoun and Dougie Murray were huge drinkers, honestly if you didn't know who Vokoun was you would think he was just some regular at the bar lol.

Not broken up about any of these. I think Schwartz would have been good but we’ve known he was going to Seattle for a while now. Suter would have been nice if we did a complete tear down of the left side of the blue line, but I’m not sure we’ll do that and I have a feeling his contract won’t be very good.

Agreed, nothing earth shattering here. Parise to Isles felt like a lock this whole time too. Saad is who I’d like, we’ll see what happens.
