So, unrelated to trade rumor stuff... I just heard an interesting story from my roommate's partner about James Neal.


"So there is a team at trivia named "James Neal is an bumhole" and the name was just explained lol. Apparently, a few years ago a team was playing with this same host and before the game started, a dozen Pens players showed up not knowing it was a trivia. James Neal then proceeded to harass the host by swearing at him and touching his equipment to get him to stop running the game. When James Neal went to the bathroom, the host told his teammates to get him away or he would record him and post it to TMZ. James Neal then came back and returned to being an bumhole. The team then dragged him out so they wouldn't end up on TMZ."



That also had to be at least 7 years ago, so the spite for that name or laziness to change is downright impressive in my book.

I went to school in Pittsburgh and have met/seen a lot of Penguins players at local bars in the Southside. Without a doubt, James Neal was the biggest @sshole I met out of all of them. Most of them were incrediblely nice, but Neal was such a Richard to everyone he encountered there. It was almost to the point where teammates were apologizing for his behavior/attitude to the staff.
