Funny how every one of us knew he sucked but Wang never saw it. Guessing Snowtard had incriminating photos of old Charlie. - Isleshockeyman
Wang was in it for the real estate play. He made bank moving the team to BKLYN and then selling. Funny how new ownership was SOMEHOW able to build a new arena but Wangs 15 years it was not feasible. Better to employ a yes man like Snow than a real GM who would have been combative. Funny how Snow and Capuano never really found an equal opportunity in the NHL with all their hockey prowess. 👀 |

This is true, but he was also in it, because he needed a hobby after stepping down as CEO of Computer Associates. He didn't know the first thing about hockey, and he relied on Mike Milbury to teach him. |

The whole thing was a ruse and we the fans were the suckers paying for a sub par product year after year. They never had any intention on winning as seen by 12 years of Snow et al. Amazing what a real NHL coach and can do.
I heard Dubas the other day say he believed in his group and I cringed because we heard that line year after year, and year after year the group failed. |

My sources are telling me that a trade for Nate Schmidt might be in the cards. Um, I wouldn’t mind that one bit as long as we don’t give up anymore high picks. I would hope maybe we could somehow send them some salary as part of any deal.
My source is LeBrun
Edit: wow, you’re looking at $6 mil for the next 4 years with him. Yikes |

Free-agent options for #Isles on D appear to be dwindling -- Reilly headed back to BOS, Suter still linked to DAL and Goligoski likely headed elsewhere.
Still a few LHD headed to market tomorrow (Forbort, R. Murray, Edler), but trade route could be more attractive at this point. |

Just saw that. Guess he finally said (frank) it and waived. |

I'd be doing cartwheels for Golly at $2.5x2
I'm fine losing a touch of offensive production for a big leap in defensive competency. Anything that makes the Isles harder to play against/score on is a win for me.
I know it's going to end up being Parise, but I'd really love to bring in someone like Nick Ritchie for the 3rd line. Him, Pageau, and Wahlstrom would speedbag other teams lower lines with a nice combo of skill, defense, and physicality - eichiefs9
Wow. Ritchie/JGP/Wahlstrom would be a force. If he could be had similar money to Parise I’d take him all day long, for many reasons. |

Everybody on Twitter freaking out. Hahaha. Free agency hasn’t even started yet.
Schmidt with that contract? I don’t think so. |

Murray might be an interesting pickup and especially with Barry's system. He's 27 as well. |

When it comes to FA's I can understand Isles fans freaking out a little as FA season has not been kind. I trust Lou to put together a team that can compete for the Cup but it will not take away any frustration on missing out on some key FA's. |

Well mentally prepare yourself because unless he unloads a bunch of salary or has no intentions of resigning some key players I wouldn’t expect a whole lot more then Palmieri, Parise, and a defensemanwhich is all kind of expected. |

Strange thing is I'm ok with Palmieri, Parise, and a defenseman especially if it means Wally is full time this year. Maybe it's better to hold back on some Cap space for the trade deadline. |

Wouldn’t upset me much, depending on said defender. |

Yeah pretty much my feelings on it as well. Hoping some maturation with Dobson and Wahlstrom earns some more ice time. |

Yep. Less Komarov and more Wahlstrom is a positive. |
