All I have read is that he is cocky confident.

Wasn't willing to be a team player. Was an obvious choice for the World Junior team but was passed over because of his inability to be a team player or something.

My guess is he has matured with age - but some seem to think that once a selfish player, always a selfish player.

Thought Tampa would get squeezed a bit more for someone to take Johnson's contract.

TJ is still a decent player. He played much better this past season and especially in the playoffs. He can play up and down the lineup, C or W. Chicago gets a player who can help them win right now. Toews is returning. They added Seth Jones and MAF. They'll contend for a playoff spot.

It proves once again how it would be idiotic for any GM to not do business with a team just so they can screw them over. If this is any GM's first priority they should be fired immediately. You're being paid by your team with the sole purpose of making your team better. If you can achieve this by making a trade with Tampa then you do it.
