Poehling eu une bonne saison l'an dernier avant sa blessure. Il joue avec du papier sablé il frappe il serait pas inutile comme centre de 4e trio

https://twitter.com/Pierr...tus/1420363281080983553On Philipp Grubauer, hearing that the Leafs have real interest if Colorado can't re-sign the UFA goalie. Toronto has other goalie targets as well, but that would be a high-end one, the Vezina Trophy finalist. Leafs would have to move cap space though.

When the season ended I predicted Savard, Saad and a depth C. Resigning Armia makes me think there won't be a top 9 w signed which while I like Saad, likely avoids a bad deal. Savard probably gets a bad deal and I've learned to accept that - I think the phrase I said a few weeks ago was MB would see what Savard did on the 3rd pair and overpay him to play further up the lineup.

MB is kinda predictable after all these years

with Landeskog signed, outside of Hamilton there's really nothing to be had on the UFA market in terms of impact players. any impact moves would likely have come via trade prior to UFA day. i think the best we can hope for is that 1) the Savard deal comes at a surprisingly reasonable cost and 2) Danault returns on a reasonable deal.

He was and as currently constructed should be on the Habs, agreed. My point is he showed where he should ideally play on a winning team and that MB will end up paying UFA pricing to take a 3rd pair guy and play him higher...it is what it is

if he's on the third pair on a good team you should consider him as such if you really want to improve on D

yeah, let's use CLB as a good example to build a team, should get us a top 5 pick at the next draft

yeah but the 2021 Lightning were an anomaly. said it before but that was the deepest team i recall seeing since those Bowman-coached HOF-studded Red Wings at the turn of the century.

Tampa was 20 millions over the cap, I will disagree here.

Even then...taking players who were depth in Tampa and thinking they'll excel in bigger roles in their age 30+ seasons isn't a strong strategy
