Thought they were improving their D, then they do the past two days. I am all for it. They could surprise some, but I think they will get AV fired in the end.

What's interesting to me about Danault signing: if he was unsure about his place in Habs depth chart, can he really be confident about his long-term role up the middle on a team with Kopitar and Byfield and Turcotte? Hmmm

That's one reason for Drury to get on the phone immediately with the Kings to possibly acquire the help at center that he needs, in exchange for picks &/or a d'man prospect like Robertson being the starting point, pending the center they would make available. A now NHL experienced Miller coming off a good season may have to be sacrificed in the right deal, given Nils' and Schneider's can't miss futures soon.

My post's meaning was for Drury to acquire center help for them at the NHL level, with their rebuild officially having ended; as opposed to acquiring any center prospect of their's. That's why I included Miller in now a full one year experienced young NHL d'man as a possible piece they may have to sacrifice to acquire experience in center help from them.
