Friedman says Suter to Dallas, likely 3 x 3. That's only a little more than Nemeth is getting (plus Suter's buyout money).

I am struggling with the earlier episodes of Curb because they are also a bit low on the production value and sometimes just legitimately unfunny. I really enjoyed the episode with Elaine though.

The Office like I said has some really great moments but sometimes just drags.

- JRR1285

what's great about the office is half of the cast were also writers for the show who they just threw infront of the camera on a whim and all ended up being integral parts of the cast. i never felt like it dragged as its more like a glimpse into an actual (albeit ridiculous) workplace where sometimes not much is happening

I get it. Personally I shy away from something that is a "phenomenon."

Arrested Development has incredible writing and acting, yet got so little acclaim it was originally cancelled after 3 seasons. I think you'll like it.

I will give it a look.

It also comes down to me not having a ton of free time. So if a show doesn't grab me after a season or two (or in some cases a matter of episodes) I don't want to keep going since I don't allocate a ton of time to watching tv. I know that can be unfair to shows that don't catch their stride until later on.

He's known to take a lot of penalties for a guy who draws no penalties. Hopefully they cure him of that.

The moments are funny enough that it has had me reconsidering giving it an actual shot but then I try watching an episode and I guess I just get a bad one and go "nope".

arrested development is the most densely layered comedy, maybe even show in general, that has ever been made. almost every single line spoken is part of a running gag or a callback or will be part of a running gag/callback and you catch something new each time you rewatch it. also the actors were perfectly cast

If you want a great show to watch, check out Servant on Apple TV. It’s not a sitcom like all the other shows discussed but it’s great, and episodes are only 25 minutes long or so.

I'll see if I can check it out. I don't currently have an Apple TV but I could borrow one from work.

Edit:
Scratch that, I am on an M. Night Shyamalan ban.

Mentor or protect? Lol.

I think hes more a mentor to Schneider who’s game is more similar to Nemeth’s. Protection for Nils.

It’s awesome. I’d put it up there with Game of Thrones and The Sopranos for the top 3 shows of all time for me. And it does have some hilarious parts.

Wouldn’t this be fun just thought of it

NYR get - Willy Karlsson (has a 10 team list. But he thrived under Gallant, so he’d probably love to play here)

Vegas gets - eichel

Buffalo gets - Chytil, Hauge, 1st from both NYR and Vegas

Maybe other spare parts involved. But seriously, this should please all three teams

#1 The Wire. TV doesn’t get better than that. The first season is the greatest season of television ever made
