For the same price as Tyler Johnson, I would have preferred Mikael Granlund.

Having Fleury’s decision soon would be good. But I have the feeling that if he decides a month from now that he is not coming there still will be good players available and their contract expectations might be lower as they get more desperate.

Going to tee this one up there a big fat 16" softball pitch: Fluery will/would now be playing half his games in Chicago, IL instead of Nevada.

Same here. At one point, one of the trade rumors articles had Granlund linked to the Hawks and it would be one less player that Nashville has.

We did get rid of the Seabs contract though that has handcuffed off-season movement as a cost involved though.

Amazing seeing these goaltenders change teams like it is a fantasy draft day.

Ethan Bear traded to Carolina and the Canes are considering bringing in DeAngelo?

That may not end well if that happens.

Holtby to DAL is interesting. Last I knew Bishop will be healthy to start the yr and with Khudobin signed and Oettinger playing well I thought he played well enough for consideration........ That's probably 4 NHL level goalies of some level.

Maybe waiting for deHaan to be traded first to free up some cap space.

Coleman is a good player but he is not a guy you give 6 years, too. and 5M. One or the other.

They have space to sign him. Unless stan lost his mind(again) and signs him for more than 2-3M AAV. He is coming off knee surgery and he should not cost more.

Maybe McCabe 2 to 3 years 2 to 2.5 per year might sound plausible just guessing. Maybe too much maybe not enough
Could always bury Connelly and carpenter in Rockford to save cap space..

No space. Does not fit 4th line role, and not good enough for 3rd line. Will end up in LA or Buffalo
