They keep the pick unless he plays 30 games. There is zero reason to complain about this trade. Its actually a nice peace of work by Dubas.

If he plays 30 games they get more value than a 7th.

So if its a prospect for a pick is it not accomplishing the same thing? Just a player closer to being ready?
