On Philipp Grubauer, hearing that the Leafs have real interest if Colorado can't re-sign the UFA goalie. Toronto has other goalie targets as well, but that would be a high-end one, the Vezina Trophy finalist. Leafs would have to move cap space though.

Well the reigning Vezina trophy winning goalie was just given away for free. So a finalist should bring a 1st round pick with him.

Was a little surprised they didn't go after Price. He is a West Coast boy as well...

We could use a high end goalie. That's never a bad way to spend money really unless you go full Bobrovsky contract. I would prefer getting Hamilton however

Sure we could, but how good is a high end goalie when you need to leave 4-5 other holes empty to get one? At that point I'd rather at least do something to plug the holes and go with Campbell and a backup.

We tried the Andersen sees 40 pucks a night method, I didn't like how that went.

I also said that the Leafs finished top 5 last year in reg season.. They were not far off. Hopefully things don't go to far off the rails.

Grubauer UFA so free to the team offering the most cash. Leafs should start playing dirty with the cap like Chicago and Tampa. Hire family members of players to do filing and manage parking.

Id love Hamilton, but he looks to be getting 9+ a year.

I think we will be lucky if they can fit a Hoffman + Richie level wingers, and fill the rest of the gaps. Need space to even do that. 🤦🏻‍♂️

He's definitely way more attractive to budget teams today.

There's no way he was ever going to be traded until today given that bonus payment.

Guys like him are going to get 3+ all day today so getting him at 750K is pretty attractive.
