Kampf's offensive numbers have never wowed anyone, either in his native Czech Republic. But the Chomutov, Czech Republic native's skills without the puck and as a penalty killer have made him a valuable teammate wherever he's played.

Danault by contrast had all of 24 Points playing on the first line and heavy minutes. Great deal at $5.5 for 6 years compared to Kampf with only 12 measly points on a crap team's third and fourth lines with limited icetime.
