I do wonder if they will look at someone like Jake DeBrusk or Tyler Bertuzzi.. Bunting seems better suited as the 2nd line LW.
- PatC80

I think they only have 800g's left no?
Or is it more?
they'll have to shed some salary if so.

Kurvers?

Kordic?

- senstroll

Kurvers played over a season for us.

Kordic made contributions at a time when we were playing in the Chuck Norris Division.

Foligno played 7 regular season games and 4 playoff games, and made absolutely no difference.

Looking back throughout Leafs history, has there ever been a worse trade than the one for Foligno?
- Atomic Wedgie

Tyler Biggs for Rakell and Gibson, I know they were draft picks but that turned out real bad for us.

What happened to the one rumour of a top 6 player that didn’t play in the playoffs last year? Didnt chris Johnson say something about that a month ago.
- bryant

YA I brought that up a few days ago, that rumour disappeared quickly,
Maybe it was just filler

Definitely unnecessary, is that when he got injured?
- matt1337

Unofficially, yes.

Apparently they have about 3.5mil in cap space according to Friedman. They don't need to have extra players on the roster with the Marlies so close.

I'd say yes - there are a few to pick from this list alone.

they can carry 20 skaters instead of 23 and that frees up a bit more space.

He got injured for taking it upon himself to “honour the code.”

So franking frustrating that there are people who think that made him a great teammate.

It was stupid and selfish.

- Atomic Wedgie

I think he tweaked something the last couple of games of the reg season as well.

Bernie Parent one should have an asterisk - he had left the Leafs to play in the WHA.

That one is a close 2nd just cause Phil actually played and we got Kapanen. Then traded Kapanen for Amirov. Biggs played 0 games and couldn't be traded.

The toskala trade was bad too. Plus he sucked

Edit; maybe it wasn’t that bad. I don’t know if the picks turned into any actual players

I love Burkie. But the Phil Kessel deal was an unmitigated disaster. We are still paying that guy. It altered the course of the entire franchise for YEARS. In a not good way.
