I would do that in a heartbeat, but I doubt Colorado does.

Kerfoot is pure vanilla ice cream to me: I have no strong feelings either way. I would have no problem trading him, but I am skeptical what we get back or replace him with would be better and/or cheaper.

I agree, Colorado doesn't go for that deal. I am fairly confident Kadri will soon be on a different team though. Three strikes.

This I agree with.

But then add Engvall and any other player that refuses to hit.

Thanks to everyone for your kind words.

The truth is that she had a long battle with Parkinson’s, and her passing is a mixture of sadness and relief.

Hey, let’s talk about hockey.

Or beer.

Or bbq accessories.

Hard to beat a salt-slathered whole chicken from any Portuguese churrasqueira. They're like $12 a pop. Little bit of rice and potato balls and you've successfully knocked a year or two off the back end of your life.

You got a Loblaws BBQ?

That was my last one - not sure if it is still true, but they used to put those babies on deep, deep discount around July 1.

Yes Joe and almost every bottom six that has been drafted in recent memory. Gauthier was a giant. Was a very gentle player.

Because I am lazy as frank, I will grab a roasted chicken from Costco, strip the meat, and let it gurgle away in a slow cooker in red sauce, salt, pepper.

Then it get# transferred to a crock pot and shoved in the pizza oven - 100% for show - and serve pulled chicken sandwiches.

It’s a showstopper.

Truth be told, IMHO, the best way to cook chicken on the Q is indirect heat. Fire up one side (throw some wood in the smokerbox over the heat) and throw the bird on the cold side. I go slow and low to optimize my outdoor drinking/cooking time.

My go to for whole chicken is butter slathered under the skin, montreal steak spice dry rub (ground fine in coffee grinder or food processor) on the skin, prop it up on a beer can chicken stand and slow cook in BBQ on indirect heat for about 5 hours. Simple but not a weekday dish

That leaves the Rangers with cap space to trade for ECHL without having to send $$ back. Still not sure if I want him though.

I really, really wanted Colborne to work here in Toronto.

His last game for the Leafs was pre-season, and he would have to go on waivers. I was at the game, and I was hoping for a miracle.

The other team got possession in their end, and were trying to take it out up the boards. Colborne could have taken the body, but he let them by and they scored.

I still remember the franking play like it was yesterday.

Everyone in the building - including Joe - knew it was over.

Nice ...I season a bit different but pretty similarly. I haven't needed the beercan/stand bc of the indirect heat.

5 hours probably bests my quiet drinking time. I think my slow n' low is about 3 hours with the woodchips getting things nice and smokey.

Wedgie has convinced me that the pizza oven is my next big move ...just waiting to finish our backyard reno.

I'm saving up for groceries, I paid through the eyes for my BBQ. I supposedly got the last one in Ontario until the end of September
