Because I am lazy as frank, I will grab a roasted chicken from Costco, strip the meat, and let it gurgle away in a slow cooker in red sauce, salt, pepper.

Then it get# transferred to a crock pot and shoved in the pizza oven - 100% for show - and serve pulled chicken sandwiches.

It’s a showstopper.

If slow cooked chicken is your jam you have got to try these :

I have the rotisserie from the bbq I bought in 2003 - I have never used it.

Well then you should be investing in a ribolater.

Truth be told, IMHO, the best way to cook chicken on the Q is indirect heat. Fire up one side (throw some wood in the smokerbox over the heat) and throw the bird on the cold side. I go slow and low to optimize my outdoor drinking/cooking time.

So funny how many big guys...shiit even just hockey players in general...we've had on this team that never hit.
- underhill14

Wasn't always like this. Up to the coaching staff to demand hitting. If you go back to the sixties. A guy named Bobby Baun broke Serge Savard's leg (twice) with clean hip checks that sent him flying. Baun was 5'9" and meaner than any player on the Leafs in the last 30 years.

Thanks to everyone for your kind words.

The truth is that she had a long battle with Parkinson’s, and her passing is a mixture of sadness and relief.

Hey, let’s talk about hockey.

Or beer.

Or bbq accessories.

I had a pint of Sapporo for the first time last weekend with my ramen and it was amazing.

Maybe the best pint I've ever had.

It's excellent. Started drinking it when we started eating sushi years and years ago. But you have to get the imported stuff in the big can, not the smaller can stuff from Guelph which is meh.

You got a Loblaws BBQ?

That was my last one - not sure if it is still true, but they used to put those babies on deep, deep discount around July 1.

- Atomic Wedgie

it was $299.99

63,000 btu - 5 burners and a side burner which I never use.

I'm saving up for groceries, I paid through the eyes for my BBQ. I supposedly got the last one in Ontario until the end of September

- winsix

Covid supply chain huh. The bike I bought in January has been delayed until late September now. And tire tube supplies are dwindling. I have one spare tube and I'm riding very carefully.

Hard to beat a salt-slathered whole chicken from any Portuguese churrasqueira. They're like $12 a pop. Little bit of rice and potato balls and you've successfully knocked a year or two off the back end of your life.

I know right.
No Frills chickens are about the same price but are not cooked

I've always liked Sapporo, and yeah, the bigger can is much better than the smaller can. It's been one of my two go to brews for years now. But man, I've never had a pint of it before. It was so damn good.

Got the same one except the basic model (natural gas) without a side burner or rear IR

Love it to death

Best appliance in the house and that's on top of the gas stove we bought which I'm enamored with
