The can is pretty cool. Sapporo intentionally tastes like nothing though, it's very Zen. Beck's has more of a rotten garbage water vibe.

Best pint I ever had was after a 6 hour bike ride and the only thing my friend had in his fridge at the cottage for some reason was Amstel Light.

I'm just being controversial. I've never been a fan - although like Missionsy points out I probably always had the Guelph brewed junk.

One of my besties lived in Japan for about 15 years (married a Japanese girl ..kids, etc....) and he says the locals treat it like we treat Coors or Canadian. Some swear by it but most consider it meh.

That being said he said they do some off shoots and specialty brews that are better and even the vanilla stuff made in Japan is better.

My new go to beer.

I've stumbled into some of that at the LCBO ...they do a few good brews. I think they're out of the Ottawa area. Nice.

I like to branch out and expand the menu but I find I keep coming back to a lot of Collective Arts. Ace Hill Mexican Lager on taco night has also become a go-to.

Did you try the Duchesse de Bourgogne yet?

The night before I left Leysin switzerland when I was 17 I drank like 9 smirnoff Ices and the next morning we had a long bus ride down a winding mountain road. Can't think of a better time or feeling.
