7 x $9 NJD
Dougie Hamilton is off the board
I think the average age of NJ forwards is like 23 with Ty Smith and Luke Hughes coming up on D
Could be a serious team in a couple years
Still have $18 million in cap space |

Hope these no namers signed today are strictly AHL bodies, likely are but never know with this team.. Lol
Some still interesting names not signed yet, would love if Chevy did something unexpected and signed a top 6 winger. |

Firstly , how on earth can TB afford to pay that. We are in a cap flat world this year and probably next yr as well.
Certainly not the cap-friendly deal I would have expected. He's a great player and I have always been a fan of his but it seemed that other TB players were signing more cap-friendly deals to keep most of the core intact.
Aslo...Having several major contracts on one team can really hurt when injuries come at the wrong time, especially after the trade deadline. |

I wonder where Perry ends up? Toronto?
I wonder if Chevy has offered him a contract? |

When Schmidt’s contract ends he will be 35. Dougie Hamilton is 28 right now and if he were signed to the max at 7 years. His contract too would have ended when he is 35.
Hamilton can hit hard too, I am unsure if you have ever watched him play. - TheUltimateJet
Another Jet from Minnesota. Nate is the second coming of Matt Hendricks when it comes to being the glue guy in the locker room and on the bench. Awesome to get him.

They don’t have to be Cap complaint until first game so more moves coming. As for Point I think it’s the first contract this big that doesn’t have any trade limitations or NMC’s?
Makes the contract mobile? |

If the Jets are going offer an old guy a contract, I hope its to David Kreicji. The man still has game and plays well in his own end. |

Keumpher is a good goalie (when healthy!!, he struggles to stay healthy) but holy man did Sakic have to over pay !!! Wow. I’m a big Connor Timmons fan, think he will be a very good D. Plus a first and third, wow. |

That’s what happens when you don’t get a goalie all day!
Colorado has had a rough day(s) here.
Very un-Sakic like actually |

Yes. Avalanche has gone backwards in my opinion as well. To be honest very few teams in the West have actually gotten better in my eyes. Jets for sure, also I think Vegas has done well, Flames a small improvement, Edmonton as well., several teams have gone sideways, and several downhill ( Blackhawks, Arizona, Avalanche ).
I see the Jets winning the Central and Kraken making the playoffs. I think the Jets and Vegas will be in the semis barring unforeseen rashes of injuries to either team.

He'll stay in Boston, very good and unappreciated player imo. |

Kuli to Minni! $2.25M×2
Craig Anderson signed in Buffalo for league minimum to be their goalie, why would he do that to himself.. Lol |

That is what the pundits are saying he will re-sign in Boston.
Perry will be playing somewhere and he is still a nasty sob, two consecutive years in the finals. If we are signing a depth 4th line, why not Mr. Nasty A-hole?
We need this type of player. |

Not impossible but these guys who have made their $ (Perry $88 million) call the shot |

Make no mistake, the Avs are still very good, dallas had significant injuries last year and will be better. I don’t like what Chicago has done for their future but they will be better than last year as well. The central will be very tough!! |

I actually think Chicago changed course a bit as they are potentially going to have a long legal’esque year
Want to be competitive and more faster ? |

And he wants the "Montreal" experience so that is where he wants to sign.
But it would be nice to have some type of agitating player on the team that gets under the oppositions skin like Mr. Perry. |
