The truth hurts. They can’t be forced to play here via trade and they sure as hell don’t want to willingly sign here it seems like, unless it’s the last possible option.

Sabres aren't signing anyone today. Virtually all free agency signings are bad, mainly the early expensive ones. The sabres don't plan to be a max cap team, and they aren't trying to get better in small increments.

They need a couple goalies, and I'm sure they would like to keep Ullmark. But this isn't going to be a team the best goalies consider. We will pick someone up in a week or so.

Resigning our own guys and getting one or two bargain vets later this month will get us to the cap floor. That's the plan.

people never stop amazing me.. i once had an employee who i found out was living at the office for a week or so.. he would wait till he thought everyone was gone for the day and call the office to see if someone answered and when no one did he would come back and sleep in the storage room.. i caught him there one random saturday when i came by to grab something.

Get a solid goal tender so they don't lose every game 6-2. Maybe lose 4-3 would be more positive for the youngsters.
