No half-measures, no limpRichard free-agent moves, and man…setting out this off-season to “not get worse”….is way more bleak than looking in the mirror and knowing full-well it’s time to burn it down and build something we can love again.

You can balance saying, Playoffs aren’t the goal and we’re going for the future without losing on purpose.

for sure. also, they would never admit they’re losing on purpose but the personnel decisions…a coach who’s best attribute is developing youth, and a draft that focused on players that need a lot of development but have big, exciting ceilings. call it what you will…the goal is to….let’s call it, not winning the cup this year.

Agreed. This core has been rotten for years. It didn't work. We're not winning anything with Sam, Jack and Risto. Burn it down. Start again. Dont throw money at horrible FA contracts. Manage assets. Weaponize cap space. I have faith in GMKA. I guarantee they'll be better than they were last year.
