I don't get the tank talk. They aren't going to try to lose this year like Murray did in years past. We all should have known they weren't going to make much progress today because of the silly money tossed about to mediocre players that wouldn't want to play here. We will be bargain shopping over the next few days. We all knew it was going to take some time to brush off 10 years of Pegula stank and 18 months of Ralph Stank. - Slump Buster

Sure, they won't be good. My point is that they will try to win. Ted Nolan isn't behind the bench and we won't be shipping off goalies that play well.
The bigger point is that they weren't going to make themselves better today.
I'm way Tipsy but they only care about the big 3 and Using the center prospect we get with Jack eichel to to make us Relevant again next year and build into the next Cartorado avalanche .
I'll probably regret this in the morning - gerbe75pts[/img]
Whatever that's fine, I just don't want to lose on purpose again. If they try to win and they're bad so be it.
We actually got worse. We traded away one of our most consistent players in rhino, we traded Risto (great return). We lost a steady Dman in McCabe, lost our starting and back up goalie.
And we have a disgruntled face of the franchise.
Who is going to play net? Houser? Tokarski? Who is going to score assuming Eichel is gone?
As it stands right now I can’t see this team getting more then 7-10 wins in regulation. But they will try not to lose

Holy shat. Are you kidding ? Is there a freaking difference? You don’t think In the tank years they were trying to win? Of course they were but with shatty players. They are doing the same thing this year.

What the hell happened to ...you guys will be happy, teams valuing our players more than we as fans do?
Risto return was good
Reinhart's was piss poor
Nobody wants Jack
I'm less than "happy", lol - IonSabres
I said Ristolainen,Sam I thought the value was a absolute steal for those 2 and you get Levi who in my book will be just like Miller is a really good deal .

I must have missed it - does the season start tomorrow? Are all of the moves done? We won't be good for a bit but that is unavoidable at this point.
1. Losing Risto is addition by subtraction
2. We were about .500 over the last quarterof the year with awful goaltending once Ralph stank was removed. The kids led the charge and Jack wasn't around.
3. Defense is already better than it was last year
4. Goaltending will be better than it was during last half of last season
5. More players will be acquired
6. The kids will be a year older
We don't know the goaltending yet. So what? Geez, you guys kill me.
And who improved themselves markedly today? There were a couple of nice trades but other than that it was the usual nonsense that jumbles up the panties of this board. Same time next year?
