If Holland's goal is to be a better GM than Chia, then he is just getting by. Hard not to draw a few parallels with his moves so far though.

Looking at the alternatives, I'd take this deal for Ceci over the Poolman, Hamonic, and Forbort deals. I'd have preferred Nemeth or Larsson. I'm not sure where I stand on it in relation to the Savard deal given how poor of a season he had last year.
