the only Canuck content I consume comes from Carol and this cesspool of ignorance and misunderstanding.

Does it show?

I backread a bit, but I see several of you don't agree with my outlook, which is fine, you guys are idiots anyways.😁
I will say again, this team improved significantly over the offseason, at the forward position and especially on defense. I take Poolman all day every day, over that dud they got from Vegas.

Hope some of you don't drown in the most useless stats ever and maybe watch what actually happens on the ice, and by that, I mean, really watch where the breakdown occurs.

I actually signed up for the Athletic, I like the diverse content on all the different sports.

Drance can be good, I like the the Harman guy, but I usually stay away from Canucks content because of the negativity(I get that here, plus most of the articles are posted here)

- Makita[with a trigger warning] Now that there has been quite a few changes to the team I think the articles will be more positive in nature.

Totally agree.

If you like to listen, the Athletic Hockey Show podcast is three different groups of broadcasters, and covers all topics/teams. And I believe as an Athletic subscriber you can listen ad free.

Quin Hughes, come on down! You’re the next contestant on how much money can you burn an NHL GM for.

If canucks play the season and end up with a similar record/divisional position as they did last season, will the whining still be considered bullpoop?
- bloatedmosquito

IF followed by a negative outlook is BS. Why not let it play out?

Quinn Hughes sucks at D . He doesn't have arb rights and can not receive an OS

I just flagged you for not believing in the Hughes magic.

Edit - I did flag you by accident, sorry?

Also, JP Barry on the hockey show was talking about the “bridge deal” as a way that agents use the rules to their advantage, basically thinking of the bridge, and the next contract as one 11 year deal.

Those will be fun Games to watch, though Reaves is getting a little long in the tooth.

What I’m saying is I agree, Hughes will bridge for 3 years at $6 or whatever, but Barry will be looking forward a number on the following 8 year deal that will average out with the current deal in the $9 range…

He's my dark horse to be the next impactful draft pick. All eyes will be on Podz and if he's a top 6 talent this season. But Klimovich will make, at barely 18, what looks to be a strong Abby team. He might get a look with Canucks if Green likes him at camp.

CBJ desperate to not lose another core player.

The comparable new contracts in the flat cap have become teams paying players to compete and others over paying to remain crap.

Canucks can say to Petey and QH what kind of team do you want?

See, Men’s volleyball needs the same uniform standards as men’s track. You can tell who’s packing heat.

I get that.

By that time Canucks can decide if they want him or not. I compare Hughes to Tyson Barrie. They were hoping for 8 per but settled on 4.5 x 3

It gives both sides a chance to see the real player.
