Only thing I can say is you have to give up something to get something. I am not trading Wally either. Beau I might depending on what I get back. We have an influx of young defenseman we can trade as well. I say go after teams who need to get under the cap or disgruntled guys who want out of their current team

Even though it never happens it would have to be a sign and trade sort of thing I would assume with the hopes of acquiring a defenseman along with tarasenko. I’m starting to think that’s what is holding everything up. Everyone keeps losing touch with us having a rather large hole in our blue line. I have a hard time believing Lou’s plan is to fill that with a rookie. Never happen.

If Islanders are trading for tarasenko I wouldn't give up any roster players or prospects. Only draft pics. Tarasenko is worth a 6th or a seventh round pic. He is a check away from retiring. We could use Boychuk and Tarasenko LTIR to go after McDavid at the trade deadline. I am sure he will demand a trade away from that train wrecked franchise.

Pretty much the only two teams that haven’t “done anything”. Tarasenko is being traded that we know. The two teams are trying to make it work for both of them. Seems pretty obvious to me.

Yeah, because McJesus is gonna demand a trade from a team that pretty much consistently makes the playoffs and is trying to improve. I'll agree that Holland seems to be Garth light, but it appears that at least he tries to fill the roster holes. Train wreck? Not quite, but he isn't gonna demand a trade.
