His number of face offs corraborates that he was playing center in Washington.

He doesn't look too bad at taking them either which is good. This move makes more sense to me now. Looks like him and Evans will be taking the defensive draws in Danault's place if Bergevin's plans for a center upgrade fall through..

Not really.

I think MB is better off waiting to see what shakes out in the trade market.

Casey Cizikas is a bit of a shutdown Centre and puts up more points than Danault.

Me too. He's a pure (frank)ing sniper and given how long this team went without those it's like dying of thirst in the desert to finding a (frank)ing oasis between him, Toffoli, and Caufield. Remember the days of Andrew Shaw in our top 6. (frank)ing still gives me nightmares.

Late on this one but I love the Blackhawks logo, really should buy one of their jerseys before it is cancelled...question is though, which name and number? Crazy Eddy? JR? Quite liked the Mutt when he was with the Habs...decisions, decisions...

I don’t think MB is ready to give up on KK yet but the crowded wings don’t make much sense...something has to happen for the roster to make sense... But if you are using Drouin and Lehkonen as bait, you’re not getting a good center, those come at a premium, so yeah perhaps Drouin, KK and Lehkonen could all go, that would be weird. I do think a PMD is as critical to get as a center right now.

And I did expect a busy offseason, saw it coming a couple years back with all the contracts expiring...and tbh, many of us were kind of hoping that Weber would decide to call it quits and here we are... kind of a blessing in disguise if you ask me. He was great in the playoffs but that was under playoffs rules and with top 4 overworked, something that wouldn’t fly for an 82 game season... too many times last regular season I remember holding my breath when he got the puck only to turn it over...

Hopefully, he’s highly motivated when playing former teams Sens and Panthers, sticking it to them would go a long way towards making the playoffs, especially the Sens since they were kind of the Habs’ achile’s heel last season..

Maybe he’s cooking a perfect Bowling game? That’s 300 points right?

And I’ll refrain from posting a can you smell what the rock is cooking GIF, although it would make sense with Bergevin’s biceps...I need to get hold of a good graphics guy to make that GIF lol

ugh, you really think it could get canceled? I haven't heard any rumblings about it yet... and I'd go with a Bobby Hull, or a Chelios jersey.

and yeah something's gotta give, all signs are pointing to Bergevin not being done, I find a C might be a bit more of a priority than a PMD but I'll be glad if he finds a decent one of either.

Sure, sounds excellent. I have no desire to see that goal celebration from Ka(frank) that makes him look like a bunch of bricks were dropped on his head. I'd love to see Hoffman score a hat trick and shut him up.

It’s hard to say these days but what I don’t get is the Cataractes logo from before was fine and then they pulled that one out of their hats just a few seasons ago... about as good a timing as the Habs picking Mailloux on the heels of the metoo campaign... maybe it’s something with teams from Quebec...

My grandmother, with her frugal and practical Scottish heritage, got me a Blackhawks toque (with the iconic logo patch on the front) when I was 5-years-old because it was cheaper than the Habs one.

I wore it, mostly because it came from her as a present

Kinda grew to love it, even if I was sorta mocked for it (was my own version of the Sweater).

I still have it in a box of memories, but it no longer fits my grown-up head.

lol.

Come on Karine ... if you don't go with a Stan Mikita jersey then you're not worthy.
