if you look at the deals with vegas as a whole we traded howden and a 3rd for reaves and a 4th and i'm feeling slightly less annoyed by it - picklerick
It’s really silly to be so bent out of shape with this summer so far. We’ve lost 1 meaningful player who can fairly easily be replaced. And for anyone to say they could’ve got more for Buch, prove it. I highly doubt they could’ve or else we wouldn’t be having this conversation on a daily basis. Regardless we got a top 40’s-ish pick next year, and a useful role player of which we didn’t have his style of game. A style of game we all knew they’d add, and btw PLEADED for them to add. The nitpicking on Drury so far is really outlandish. And btw, all Sather does for Drury is probably get him coffee |

Druzy has done a terrific job of turning the team from “whipping boy” to “don’t mess with”
For those of us that actually played the game, intimidation is a real force.
We had too many whimps…Kravs, Rooney, Deguiseppe, Buch, Kakko, Blackwell, Howdy, Hyjack…. These are all soft kids… they play like Daisy.
Added to that are Pan and Zib that aren’t steel workers and you a have a team of frightened kids.
Well…no longer. We will all see the real talent on this team as they can be themselves without being bullyied
And as for Buch… stop the crying! He had a good season last year, but Blais is a good player too…and Buch would have been too expensive.
We have replacement parts are are NOW playoff ready !!! - Lou4Rangers

I don't think anybody doubted that, but how many line-brawls are the Rangers expecting on a nightly basis? |

I really thought the Buch thing was about two things: (1) future salary cap concerns; and (2) clearing the path for the Kakko, Laff, Kratsov, etc. to move up in the lineup, get powerplay time, build confidence, etc.

When I saw Blues and Buch rumors I was thinking hmmm maybe Thomas? one for one. He’s a center yada yada..but it’s basically a lesser player but a second rder made up for it |

Hope they can take the steps to really contribute. No reason not to believe it other than the fact that at times I feel like we're always snakebitten.

Sorry man. I really need to up my gif game on this site. It never works for me.
As a former NOVA ex-pat, you deserve that!
On the other topic that everyone except Ranger fans are talking about, you hear anything about the Big Ten making moves in response to the ESecPN adding UT and OU? Just curious on what's the scuttlebutt there. |

Thomas? We need O'Reilly. That's the kind of center we need. Helping the Blues stay competitive doesn't help us get him next year when his contract is coming due. |

Honestly, I’d do a trade of Goodrow for Buch one for one. Which is basically what happen in a round about way. Completely different players, diff skill set..a skill set we didn’t have. As opposed to having 3-4 Buch’s skill set already |

Correction. We have one DMB fan - TPC.

Blais 103 hits in 36 games
Goodrow 111 hits in 55 games
Reaves 141 hits in 37 games
Hunt 94 hits in 26 games
somebody making the decisions think hits matter, and guess what? They do matter. ESPECIALLY in the playoffs

According to my buddy who is a life long and knowledgeable Blues fan, those are the last 2 they would be moving.
I really wanted ROR. My buddy almost hit me! Said he's retiring a Blue. |

I haven't heard any scuttlebutt yet, but haven't paid too much attention the last few days either. Honestly, not sure how much I like the idea of these Super Conferences. I definitely didn't like it for college basketball. I miss the old Big East.
SEC fans are already insufferable. They are going to get worse. |
