I get that, but there is a very real scenario where Binnington stays on the Matt Murray path, their defense gets slower and slower, and they have a very quick decline, where they're sitting there in Feb 2023 going, "We need to move ROR, why would he resign here". Buch will certainly help stay decent (he'll have 70+ points this year), but they'll probably be Minnesota from 2014 until just before last year, competitive but aging and unable to get near the top.
