I can see Kubalik being around 25-30 goals consistently, but I doubt he will ever be a PPG player. I just hope that they find a way to keep him, I like his all around game, he really improved on the defensive side last season. I’m thinking the sooner they extend him, the cheaper he will be, especially if playing with Toews this year.

Agreed and you can't dump him because he is better than expected. You ride your winners and find a way to pay them.

It's not like we have an overabundance of good forwards!

Connolly will be gone one way or another as well as Strome. That's 6.5 bills right there. Somebody may have to take a lesser contract until Toews and Kane are at lower levels.

Looks like the Captain, Hagel, and Boqvist are at Lollapalooza.
