Well if this team does that, of course it wont have anything to do with Provorov, Hart, Sanheim, Konency, Allison, Farabee, Lindblom or Frost. All players drafted by Hextall.

For me, I'm hoping aspirations for Fletcher are higher than just being considered a better GM than Hextall.

I will put my player evaluation skills up against anyone, including any GM in the NHL. I know you love Myers, but these videos were comical. This guy will never be a legitimate top 4 in this league IMO.

The very fact that you claim to put your player evaluations up against any GM in the league betrays you. No reasonable fan would make that statement. I'm still wondering how an actual NHL GM sees it so differently than you do.

Exactly. But I do think we need TK and Farabee to be pushing close to 30 goals. Cam will be getting PK minutes so I don't think it's realistic for him to be at 30. I'd be happy with 20+ as long as others are scoring. That 3C is a big question mark. That should be a secondary scoring line for us. If Frost steps up, great. But we need a center that can generate offense.

Laughton is a solid option for 3C.

im not sure what the reationary manner is? Trying to get better? Thats the job of a GM. Should he of kept the same team and hope for better results, definately not He even said cant keep bringing the same guys back and expecting different results, and i dont think anyone disagrees with that.

Eichel has to do what’s best for him. If that means he misses more time then that’s tough.
He will have a life after hockey and if that is at a detriment because he opted for his employers wishes against his better judgment then shame on him.

The concern I have with Atkinson is that he seemed to be in a decline. Was that team related? Possibly. I have no doubt that he can contribute in areas that Voracek could not. I just hope that he regains his goal scoring touch.

Couple pages in and have yet to read that Fletcher wanted to change the culture/chemistry of the squad. Yes both players bring different elements but isn't a big part of the swap of Voracek for Atkinson was to change up the culture as well as maybe add some grit/compete to the equation?

I don't buy the culture aspect. My opinion, they just simply needed to get better.
