If cheap never enough goalies to develop. The farm needs depth also. Goalies take years of seasoning.

Probably min 2 years away from MDP being capable as a starter in the event Demko is injured. Need call ups capable of backing up. Besides Clark probably has input in that regard.

It is interesting seeing the different line combos posted, even funnier watching how some individuals get their noses out of joint if you disagree with their choices.

Having said that, I also like the 6-40-9 line, Bo hasn't really played substantially with Brock since 2018, maybe a bit to shake things up but nothing of permanence.

I think that's why Dickinson and Garland were brought in, plus with Hoglander and the possibility Podkolzin being NHL ready, there are choices that give Green a few options. Both Podkolzin and Garland can play either side (or so I've read) again gives Green different options, hopefully for in game adjustments.

Not so much a concern as it's just odd trying to figure out where he fits. He looks to be a career AHL goalie based on his numbers and age. Backup for dipietro in Abbotsford with silovs going back to the OHL I guess.

I would think they want a 3rd string goalie, to call up from the minors, so as not to have bring up MDP
