Lol I know, trying to start something lol sitting in AC house because it's really smokey amd humid outside, was going to go to the lake. - Bettmanhatesus
Smokey here in K Town, getting really tired of it. Headed up into the mountains this morning looking for clearer skies, little better but still smokey. Going to Vancouver instead. I don't remember it being this bad even when we were burning down.

Smokey in Qtown today too after a week and a half of very little.
My place down in the south Cariboo where my father lives is right beside the Flat Lake fire. He's been evacuated for almost 2 weeks staying at a hotel in 108 Mile while he goes through cancer treatment. |

The sky is falling lol. - Bettmanhatesus
One of the best things I love about this forum is that people think that the media makes everything out to be a big deal.
Most of the media just relay things and it's the fans that turn it into the sky is falling for either themselves or someone else.
I just asked "why" and somehow a few of the positive people managed to take it to levels I'm finding that I never even get to when JB trades away a first round pick.

I thought the sunroom glass was a goner. Hail mowed over my wife's entire garden pretty well.
She's away and I called her to show her and she teared up. All her hard work pretty much gone.

Not quite. They are constantly stretching things to create hype. If you pay attention to the evolution of some of the rumors, it's painfully obvious what they do. Day 1 it starts as "I'm just spit balling here, never actually heard anything about it but it would make sense if_______ traded for _____. Day 2, twitter is alive with "there is talk out of _______ that so and so is on the market", Day 3 "This rumor is getting hot and where there is smoke, there is fire". Day 4 The original spit baller who suggested an idea is now in on the action and talking about all the buzz.
Hockey media is really pathetic. Its so artificial that it can be compared to British Tabloids. There are no shortage of good people in hockey media... its just that the hacks get the biggest reaction out of fans.

That's pretty poopty if he is but it also sounds like a pissed off wife/gf who was complaining about the house and baby and formula for baby.
Still looks like a POS either way. |

I'd be pretty pissed too if I was on maternity/paternity leave with a newborn and my partner skipped town to party, didn't leave any money, house was collected by the bank and she has to sell stuff just to buy formula lol |

Fans give them the reactions. Not really much different than in here, most of the time. |

Literally anybody could have made those images. I’m not saying he’s not a POS, but that’s hardly “proof”. - 1970vintage
It's circulating everywhere on social media right now. I agree, no way to tell if they are true, as people photosgop stuff all the time. |

Yeah, he also said Virtanen was going to turn the corner for this franchise and Jake was going to make his doubters eat their words.
- boonerbuck
Instead, jake just sat there eating big macs and lefty continued to eat hot dogs |

I don’t know what lefty said or didn’t say, but I certainly was in JVs corner and thought he was finally hitting his stride.
Might need to institute a “no locals” on the Canucks rule. |

Less about where they are from and more about character imo. Virtanen has always been a douchebag. |

Who's left out there Canucks could possibly use somewhere in the organization.
Mark Jankowski (seriously being back with his drafter would do wonders for him)
Pascal Laberge Right hand centre for Utica damnit I mean Abbotsford.
Josh Richardinson so Jason feels less lonely'ish from a far in Abby.
Ryan Donato still worth something cheap over someone else.
