If they want an overpaid, under producing C, they should have taken Johnson and a 2nd for Weber's contract before Chicago dropped Seabrook's corpse contract. If Nashville ate half the salary and only wanted a 7th I'm still not sure I'd have any interest in Johansen

Drouin going the other way would make it absorbable. Besides, everybody’s production dropped for the past 2 seasons in Nashville. Not having to be the go to guy would also fit him better. Having 20G-50pts 2nd center while giving you time to see what you really have in KK is a safer route than the ridiculous asking price for Eichel which health status is a big ?
